Types of Water Storage Systems

Types of Water Storage Systems

There are three major categories of water storage tanks, which are classified according to the way they can hold the water – hot water, cold water, and air. The third category, called elevated water storage tanks is mostly used to store water above ground level, usually above ground level water tanks.

These types of water storage tanks can be used to store the water in areas that are not fit for use of a traditional water tank. They can be used to store the water that is needed in the fields to keep the plants alive, in the river to sustain life on land, in the desert for the plants and animals there and in the sea to hold the water for humans. The air storage tank is used for storing the air which is needed for the plants to grow and flourish.

Purposes

The types of water storage systems available for different purposes are very diverse. Some of the systems can be used to store the water in underground wells and springs, while some of them can be used to store water in aquifers. Aquifers are areas of groundwater which is no longer accessible for water supply. These can be used for storing the water and air in the underground tank which is available for the use of humans only.

Types of Water Storage Systems

There are two main types of water storage tanks, which are classified according to how the water is stored – the hot water storage tanks and the cold water storage tanks. The hot water storage tanks can be used to store the water that is needed in the fields for cooking purposes. They can also be used for storing the water for the domestic use of the people. The hot water storage tanks are made up of steel and can hold thousands of gallons of water.

The cold water storage tanks are classified into two types – the liquid metal tanks and the non-liquid metal tanks. The non-liquid metal tanks can be used to store the water that is used for drinking purposes.

Underground Water Tanks

The water storage tanks to store the water for human beings are known as the underground water tanks. These can be used in different ways for different purposes. These can be used to store the water that is used for cleaning purposes and also to store the water for air conditioning.

The underground water tanks can be used to store the water in different places so that the water can be used at the places where they are required. These can be used to store the water for different purposes.

These tanks are known as underground tanks because these are installed in areas where it is difficult for the water can be accessed directly. They are installed in the ground to store the water that is stored in the form of liquid form. These tanks can be used to store the water to be accessed when the water levels are high, as they can be accessed at the lowest levels where the water levels are low.

The underground water storage tanks can be accessed at any place of the world if the water levels are high and when they are low it is inaccessible. When the water levels are high the water can be accessed and stored in the underground tank. The storage tanks are installed to store the water that is used for drinking purposes and also for air conditioning.

The underground water tanks can be accessed through a system of pipes that are used to access the water which is stored in the form of liquid form. The pipes have to be dug through the ground to access the water which is stored in the form of liquid form.

The underground water tanks can be used to store the water in the form of liquid form in a large number of ways. They can be used to store the water for drinking water or the purpose of storage in the form of air conditioning or the purpose of cooling.
